Trust me - I do have an Aspie temper, but I try to keep it under lockdown. When I was very young (late teens - I'm 63 now), I let myself scold someone I dearly loved without editing myself (they did deserve a scolding, trust me). The look of shocked pain on their face has stayed with me ever since. They long ago forgave me, for real, thank God, but I've never managed to forgive myself.
So... normally if I become upset, I won't follow up until I've calmed down. I never want to see that look on anyone else's face as long as I live. Brrrrrrr.
