A "meet up" in England would be cool as well.

I would love to meet some Aspies in the UK
We could pick out a central location and get together.
I only know one Aspie - but he left me
I'm sorry to hear that Sowlowsolo. A central location would be better than off in one area or another.

Your Aspie score: 167 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 35 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie.

The problem with that is that most Asperger's meets happen in London... but London being extremely 'central' means that Asperger's people living there are quite able to meet up easily. Those that live outside the South-East aren't quite as well-catered to. So perhaps a meet in the North West of England would be good?

Can you bring some of your strong, strong American craft beers over? That would be so awesome!

I would suggest Manchester. Do you live in the UK? If so, whereabouts are you?

I don't think of London as being a central location anyway. It appears more off to the Southeast to me. I have no idea if it's possible to bring strong, strong American craft beers over there.

That's because it is. London is often called 'central' because nearly everything of importance to the UK in terms of media, sport (with some exceptions), politics and government, law, cinema and so on is based there. It's the capital of the UK.

The centre of Great Britain (i.e. not including Northern Ireland) is near Dunsop Bridge in Lancashire - not far from me at all, in fact. Bear in mind though that 80% of the population of the UK lives in England so that's not really a reliable guide. The centre of England's probably not far from Worcester somewhere.

Well, I've often brought beer home from abroad - both EU and non-EU countries - so I doubt if it would be a problem. Your main issues would be around weight and making sure that you can do it. I/we'd be only especially interested in the particularly good/strong beers, preferably from your own locality if at all possible. Such beers are relatively rare in the UK, BrewDog, Thornbridge and Durham excepted.

Yes, this guy's right. Make sure that a) you pack them properly, so they don't break open and go all over your clothes and b) that you're within your luggage limit.

Well quite honestly it sounds like a big pain in the ass. Maybe you should come to Amercia where you can get your fill of the good strong American craft beers. :D

It isn't if you know what you're doing.

And visiting the US is bloody expensive at the best of times so that's out. ;)

NO I wouldn't want to meet anyone here just because I have a similar diagnosis's to the people here means I'm still just as likely to be bored by you.

Most of you don't seem to understand in anyones life their are only 3 events that are noteworthy , and they tend to be non related so can not be formed to create a interesting story. Life is nothing more than filler and I don't need filling from you.

PS I also don't need spoilt middle income children rubbing their alleged success in my face If you have friends your no better than they are.

That is all I read.

Drop the attitude, it gets nothing accomplished, lemme tell you.

Really? I find a lot of the members on WP to be pleasent and kind people despite rejection. Not antagonistic at all. We must be on two different websites.
