And yet, wikipedia says they are of potential medical significance to humans.

Actually, maggots have been used to debride infected wounds for over a century.

A Japanese man went to his E.R. With horrible headaches.

They found that a weird species of maggots had burrowed into his head.

if my logic is correct, this means bear grylls is related to frogs.

Yes, they have their use.

Anyone can eat bugs. Plenty of cultures have bugs on the menu. I once had an online friend who ate a huntsman spider. He said it tasted like chicken

Regarding the man with maggots found in his

brain, go to Snopes.com, then, on their

'Search' thingie, type 'maggot brain'.

Two pictures are shown.

You will not like them.

I had a huntsman spider randomly turn up in my bathroom a week or two ago. I hadn't seen one in years, and then one morning I just walked in and saw a large one on the wall above the bathtub. They really are big and fast. Never tried eating one, though. I just spray them along with any other unfortunate insects or arachnids if they ever find their way inside. Poor things.

Good grief. So much "nope".

It was a fascinating read, though.
Thanks for that.

RIP Florida, lets accept our lost and nuke it like Raccoon City from Resident Evil.
