I avoided arguments with my mom despite her perfectionist behavior today.

applied to a couple jobs.

 but maybe does not count/matter b/c i am unemployable.

your ideal job, is just, a series of clerical errors away :jester:

without hacking the computer database system, i find it difficult to fancy that anyone will ever make the mistake of hiring my worthless corpse again.

one company, KForce, e-mailed me a "congratulations on your job" email. then it emailed me to tell me that the previous e-mail, was written in error and to ignore it.

Bay Area Rapid Transit e-mailed me a "congratulations on your job" email. then it emailed to tell me that the previous email was written in error and to ignore it. then it e-mailed me two more times, the reporting instructions and employee standards. it told me where and when to go to start work. so i went there.

lo and behold. precious lil "people" did make the mistake of hiring my worthless corpse.

but seriously doubt it will occur happen again s**t

Successfully moved a 350 pound box from outside to a room in the house without getting injured or breaking the treadmill inside of it and spent the next few hours putting it together with the assistance of one of my kids. It works!

If you moved it by yourself, you don't need the treadmill cuz your already in great shape

I should have been more descriptive. My family helped and I had to strap some wheeled furniture movers to each end and we were able to push and pull it inside.

It's OK. That's still pretty good. I like treadmills but we definitely do NOT have the space for one. I should go walking more often. I'm seriously out of shape.

Well done! I have to do the same to get a monolithic, old, two-tonne television out of my house without help. It's the kind that is the size and mass of a giant meteorite. Should be good times! (Any tips?)

Might not go to work with my dad b/c of how I feel rather ‘under the weather’— I am not feeling too guilty about viewing pornography. I am not feeling too guilty about viewing questionable pornography.

if you know any hospital friends, mebbe they'll somehow lend you a Hoyer Lift, wheel it into the house, strap in the ol' telemeterorite, crank it up and wheel it outside to a waiting lorry. I hope it finds a nice home with a telemeteorite over

I achieved getting my brother's Sennheiser info for Blabby: (via text)

My new pair is HD 600. They are not good for phones or computers unless you add an inline amp. They are high resistance. Phone ones are low resistance. Mine are good for playing guitar so I'll use them for gigs as well as listening from my turntable or satellite radio. One thing about sennheiser phones is they perfectly reproduce what you are listening to. Most others add a lot of bass punch and exaggerate the highs. These don't. At first they sound a little flat but after listening for a while you get used to it and u can listen for a long time because it doesn't assault ur ears. If you want one that is more like that with more bass etc., you need the 650 I believe. But I have tinnitus so these are best for me.

He mentioned having a 20 year old pair, and I think they may have been 600s as well. It's amazing how much you and all other musicians understand about equipment. I'm impressed!

it is because of my rather involved avocation of audio restoration that I need a pair of neutral reference-quality headphones such as the senns. I found out about them decades earlier when I first tried on a pair, nothing else compares in both sound quality as well as long-term comfort. they are made for people with larger than average ears. other makes of headphones are not so I can't wear them, as they squish my ears.
