When parents have the TV on far too loud and the volume of the movie they're watching picks up just as I'm passing the TV. Ow.

I used one of those pore strips on my nose last night and today it has red raw spots all over it.

Does it matter?

If whomever doesn't like you because you have poor skin on your nose, then that's not the type of person you'd want liking you.

I get the whole, self-confidence thingy, of course, but that won't help much to whomever.

I'm going too short on sleep which magnifies any difficulties x 1000. I need to work out a regular schedule soon.

Work has a bunch of brainstorming middle management clamoring to stay employed and relevant. Unfortunately, we underlings bare the brunt of their multitude of half baked ideas. :?

Whenever I see a coffee mug that I really like, I should buy at least two of the same one because eventually one of them will be accidentally broken, and that's just what happened a minute ago. it was a mug with a face on it that has a runny nose and a thermometer in its mouth. I usually only drink from it when I don't feel well, but seeing it break right in half was not a nice thing to see. :(

I have another mug like it except it has a grumpy-looking face. :)

I no longer feel a connection with my mum. She can't accept me as I am and I can't deal with the stuff that she's dishing out to me. I'll go over there on Easter Sunday and leave that night. I'm getting to be too old to spend the night, anyways.

And it turns out I've been scraping the bottom of my front bumper on that intersection ramp in the centre of town (slow down blue_bean!). There's not even 1500km on it yet and already gutter rash, bumper scrapes. I hate resembling the stereotypes about female drivers :x

Lucky the scrapes are not so severe that I can't touch them up with paint, and you have to look under the car to see them.

A TV ad for a disabled employment event. There was a candidate in a wheelchair (as usual, apparently you can't be disabled for real if you aren't in a wheelchair) and the HRD basically said "He has enough skills and enough experience, so I hired him. He lost his legs but not his mind." How "nice" it was to people with neurological disabilities who have been unemployed for years and years... All that ad managed to do is making me feel like a second-class disabled job seeker, and worthless.
