I'm wondering why anyone would buy someone socks for Christmas. I didn't get any, but people on another forum got socks, and I saw a few memes about it.

It's a weird present. Another weird present is soap. That's like telling someone they stink.

as does "falling in love" by gloria estefan.

Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush also sounds lovely when stretch out to a 30 minute run time.

Well, I am hopeful for 2017, in spite of a few things.

I was hopeful for 2016 until my decision to be myself caused a clash of cultures between my mum and I. That hope vanished very quickly.

It's going to start snowing at 10 for an hour and change to rain, my arse.

I feel like my parents are going to say "we're going to go and pick up Monty from the vet" because it almost feels like he really went there to get healthy and young again, not to be put to sleep. When they get home with him, they'll walk in holding him in their arms and hand him to me and I'll hug him and won't want to let go. I know that won't happen.

paying for motor and transmission mounts tomorrow morning, finally. taking her to the shop at the corner near my house, just a matter of metres away. yet some more things to be checked off of my lengthy left of needed repairs (still to go: control arms, springs, air filter, serpentine belts...those last two i can do myself)

i thought they only did tire work there.

funny. it drives fine, looks good save for the abrasion on the rear right bumper and I have never hit anything with it, but it's totaled by definition. total repair costs are gonna far exceed what i paid for the thing.
