You look at Germany before it was ruled by the Nazi regime and the idea of totalatarism seemed great at the time before other rules were put into place.

What's sad is I don't think history isn't getting enough credence like it used to as it can repeat itself in the most inconspicuous ways.

Even worse, I'm seeing more and more denial of it ever happening and that kind of scares me. This coming from kids.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Yeah, well it isn't often you see males hug. More often or not, it's the females that do the hugging but I guess in our culture, it's considered gay for guy to show any affection to another guy as a buddy? :?

I guess it would all depend though.

Yeah I watched Bowling For Columbine.

Good documentary but rember it's also meant to be somewhat bias meaning not objective but subjective. I think Michael Moore had some good points and the history of how the west was won..

I can't believe we're one of the very few countries for capital punishment, Texas being the f***ing HIGHEST!! ! 8O

The statistics of each state in capital punishment is startling!!

That was a good movie.

Yeah and I guess us females are supposed to be all emotional and hug and hold hands, and use that high pitched voice when we're shopping or see something cute. *rolls eyes*

^That's a good way to put it. Just be yourself which isn't easy for most people to do. Too many stereotypes of how people should act based upon gender and whatever else around other people.

i definitely do. I am not going to let people stop me from hugging the people i want to hug. i could see kisses as being a bit over the top, but even then if its my absolutely best friend i would do it. a kiss does not really mean anything sexual. it just means that they love you.

I've been scolded for hugging males also. Almost all of my few friends are males. Since I'm female I must be in love with one of them if I feel like giving him a hug once in a while. Most people would be confused if I told them I loved all my friends. They'd think I was in love with them, or slept with them, or both. Love, as in strong like, and in love are two different things. Get your meanings straight people.

You must live in an ultra-conservative place. Ever considered, you know... moving.

Austin's pretty liberal, and I'm never moving again. People are just weird.

^Texas?

I've heard some other stuff about the things they use to ban but that have now been overturned.
