1. The only thing I have left from before my teenage years is an old school shirt from Junior high that we all had to wear as our uniform.

2. I never kept any sort of record of my thoughts such as with a diary when I was younger for fear that someone would read it.

3. Looking back, I wonder if there were signs of flirtation I might've missed from like one or two female students I went to school with. I doubt it.

Ugh... I spent way too long trying to put this together.

#1. I don't see you as the sentimental type in that sense. I don't know many people who feel sentimental about their junior high. And the shirt probably wouldn't fit you now, anyway. Especially if you deferred your growth spurt until high school.

But I don't sense that she saw you as a "pompous snob."

Yes, she did say that I seemed to be a pompous snob when we first met. She didn't admit this straight away, but rather when we ended the academic year and moved to separate places. It was clear there was always some tension in our living arrangement. She also teased me about many of my stims (for which I had no word at the time). It wasn't a good year and I felt very unsupported. (So, 1 is true).

2 is my lie. A professor did write those words on my paper(s), but we didn't become good friends.

3 is true although I don't know what went wrong (I think I was seen as negative, whereas I was truly just scared).

4 is true and I have one lasting scar to prove it.

2 and 3 are most likely true. I was the same way. We had to keep a diary for one of our teachers but I was permitted to staple mine shut and she accepted my need for privacy. I recently ripped it open.
I think you and I are very similar 8O

Thank you. He is now a renowned barrister, which makes me ill (I've seen his firm on Facebook). I didn't report the incident because I thought that my parents would insist I quit Uni if they found out. It didn't occur to me that he would be punished, rather than I. I made up a lie about my injury in order to get medical care. Bugger.

1. I didn't go to college until age 36, in 1997.

2. I partook of many of the activities which were offered to the younger students. I even "beer-ponged."

3. I went to a "commuter" college, rather than a fancy one.

I'ma say 2. I've never beer-ponged and I doubt you have, either. (Although, I did have something known as Electric Jello). Were you hazed?

Nope...Never hazed. No fraternities at my college. Though there were "honor societies."

#2 is correct---how discerning art thou...again!

1. My college's mascot was the Terrapin.

2. I only got 1 "B" in my college career----and that was in my Speech-Pathology practicum.

3. I was picked to give a speech about linguistics on "Honors Day"---and I muffed it all up!

So you went to college in Maryland?
It could make sense, since Maryland is only three hours (?) away from NYC?
#2 i can surely believe
#3 sounds like the lie here.

I went to school in New York City. And the mascot was the Griffin.

I did really muff up that linguistics speech. I stuttered all through it. Even my good friend/advisor couldn't deny it.

Neither am I.

But it's fun, isn't it?

When I saw Zubin Mehta, I wasn't very knowledgeable about conducting. He seemed pretty good to me.

It is actually a lot of fun!

1. I crashed early in the morning on the third and last day of my motorcycle safety course and broke my thumb. I finished the day and passed but didn’t get my thumb set until the following morning.

2. I learned to paraglide and launch off a mountain. Other than the launch, which was scary as hell, the flight was the most peaceful feeling I’ve ever experienced.

3. I joined a motorcycle club that rented racetracks for fun. I crashed twice and broke 5 ribs and a collarbone.
