I've managed to make home made Lipton Noodles & Sauce by making chicken stock by boiling pieces of chicken in a large pot of water with chicken broth powder and salt, taking the chicken out, adding a bunch of spaghetti noodles, boiling the noodles until the broth thickened and breaking up all the chicken and adding it to the concoction.

That plus the fact that I've also attended the Remembrance Day ceremonies.

Tonite went so much better than this particular nite one year ago.
I won a second prize in a Karaoke contest! (as opposed to getting arrested).

I've learned I can have as much fun with a two beer limit and non-alcoholic drinks after that. I also have a better chance at remembering the good times the next day. Plus last nite's bar tab was only $14, and I think I drank about $30 that nite I got arrested a year ago.

One of my Chihuahuas is curled up sleeping right beside me.

Getting stocked up on enough food, soda, and coffee at the grocery store that I won't have to leave the house and venture into that heinous world of noise and people again for a very long time.
