I'm glad that tomorrow's December. I can leave Remembrance Month behind me and celebrate Christmas Month. :)

As winter approaches, I hope my area will get more than a few seconds of snow (in decades).

Special interests are infectious to me. When someone mentions something interesting enough that I have not researched, the short-term special interest develops.

I once said to my mum, "Once a Cockney, Always a Cockney!" My mum yelled. "Don't say that!" That went on the summer that I was 12 and my parents were trying to shame me into losing my accent.
