walked the lane and saw a beautiful snail
later walked back, and found it crushed

Still glad, though, that there is a God
God is love

I have no one to talk to today as I am home alone and I have no bus tickets.

The fact that I seem to be even less unpopular than I usually am.

I've been beating myself up again. I ended up bouncing a check again in order to purchase a new monitor for my computer, since the internal power supply on my previous monitor bit the dust. I was trying to hold out until I get my disability check, but I recorded 2 concerts this past weekend, and the director of both choirs I recorded was wanting to hear the end results of their concerts.

To make matters even worse, I get a call from the landlord this morning, informing me there's a supposed natural gas leak, and a tech from the gas company was in the townhouse right now to check for leaks. Turns out the roommate in the den (no, not the jackass that triggered my PTSD, as he was evicted months ago) mowed the lawn, and forgot to 1) properly recap the gas can and 2) left said gas can next to the heat pump compressor.

But wait, it gets better! I get a call from the car dealership this afternoon that they're ready to repo my car, because I'm one month behind in my payment, no thanks to a check I wrote for that payment coming back and bouncing on me, no thanks to a former friend screwing me around by demanding I pay his bills for him, then shorting me on what I paid (example, I drew 50.00 from a foreign bank's ATM, which incurred a 6.00 surcharge (3.00 from my bank for using a foreign ATM, and 3.00 from the foreign bank, just for using their ATM. This jackass only pays me 50.00, since he's here, those fees are not his problem. This was also the month I had to have major work done on the front end (tie rod ends and lower ball joints, and the bank was telling me I had more money than I actually had, no thanks to all the deposits I made for this jackass paying me back. I'm such a f!cking putz it's not funny.

Add to that, every job I've applied to lately either never bothers replying to my inquiry, or I'm told to f!ck myself. It also didn't help that I got read the riot act when I had to borrow 30.00 from my brother in order to refill my Levemir and humalin-R. How was I to know he and his wife were going on vacation, since we don't talk.

And my psychologist, psychiatrist and PCP wonder why I'm always down...

I am finding it extremely difficult to volunteer for all of 6 hours each week. I dread to think how much I would struggle in a full-time role. It's ironic because I cannot tolerate being around other people yet I believe they are what gives my life any trace of meaning.

It's in the upper 80s today & is supposed to stay in there this weekend. We don't have our AC installed yet & I'm going for a walk today & tomorrow & maybe Sunday. Also our guinea pig has been laying down alot & isn't sh!tting as much as usual for the last few days. We think it's this heat; it's pretty hot upstairs.

Some food fell out of the fridge and onto the kitchen floor resulting in me having to throw it away. It got me redecorating the kitchen as I painted the air blue with my language.

Irrespective of whether I am taking medication or not, I have absolutely no sex drive whatsoever. I would be surprised if I ever have intercourse again. The desire quite simply isn't there, I am dreadfully isolated and I have only ever had one relationship, which now feels like a complete facade. I am battling to look past how meaningless everything feels like to me.

My old car crapped itself today (starter motor or battery most likely). Thankfully there's an Ultratune 50m away but I bet they'll refuse to service it unless it's in their workshop. It's kinda immobile at the moment, and in front of where everyone puts their bins out so I'll have to go outside late tomorrow night and move them all in front of the car.

iTunes has really gotten to be a complete pile of sh!t, even more so than Firefox! I just finished backing up the 105 gb music library that I have, only to find out that when I added songs from 2 concerts I recorder last weekend, iTunes deleted over 1000 songs I had there previously. I've been able to recover some of those songs from a very old Time machine backup.

If there is a replacement for iTunes for Mac OS X, or replace the database backend with either MySQL or Postgres, you damn well better believe I'd be using it!

Wait, so Apple has managed to screw up iTunes on their own OS as well? Here I thought they intentionally sabotaged the Windows version and made it a piece of crap to convince more people to buy Macs.
