A huge roach flew at my face in the wee hours this morning.

I swallowed a bug while I was outside.

It's been painful to swallow all day and the day before. I might be getting a cold or flu and will probably have to cancel going out for lunch with mom tomorrow. I had the burner up too high for the noodles I was making for supper and they burned and stuck to the pot. I was just doing some sewing and the sewing machine needle snapped right in half. I was tying to take a nap when the teenagers started racing their cars around while screaming.

I received a "congratulations" letter from my work stating I had automatically been enrolled in the 401K. Needless to say I called the opt out number

Now why would you do something like that? I just wish that, with the exception of 2 employers, I was enrolled in a 401(k)

My severely dyslexic housemate soiled himself in public yesterday. After arriving home to wash, he left the bathroom in a pool of smeared excrement. Thereafter, I cleaned up the wretched mess that he left behind with hot water, floor cleaner and a mop. On a few occasions I almost gagged.

My throat is still killing me. I'm to go down to the pharmacy to get a throat swab, since they do things like that now and and I won't have to be stuck waiting at the hospital for twenty hours to get it looked at. But I've never gotten a throat swab before and I'm not looking forward to gagging and stuff. :(

I just got back and they didn't swab my throat because they normally to that to test for strep throat, which I probably don't have. I don't even have any tonsils or adenoids, so it can't be tonsil-adenoid-related. I don't have a fever, so I can't be that sick. Now I feel really embarrassed and ashamed for making such a big deal out of this. I've been worrying and obsessing and I keep checking my throat in the mirror with a small flashlight. Maybe it's just a bug and I'll get over it soon. Or maybe it's the beginnings of something terrible. Like a mastoid infection that I got as a kid. I got a bad sore throat and cold/flu-like symptoms with that too I remember, and then I needed I don't know how many surgeries, they had to cut the back of my left ear open to drain all the loveliness, at least twice. UGH!!
