I have been unsuccessful with yet application where the company interviewed me for the respective position.

The landlord asked me, presumably as a favor, to take the flimsy wardrobe in my room and replace it with another he brought, pretty much identical except it's a different color and perhaps a bit newer. I was really sleepy and couldn't wait to go to bed, but, surely enough, complied.

Little did I know you're not supposed to tilt those lank wardrobes under any circumstances. It wasn't easy to pull the old one from its corner and, in the struggle, I broke one of its four feet.

Now I'm afraid that he might demand me to pay for the whole wardrobe, since I ruined it. I can't really afford it, so I'll be in big trouble if he does.

Also, I left it in a corner of an already narrow corridor, next to the other new wardrobe the landlord brought, meant for one of my flatmates. It seems unwise to try and move it again with its broken foot, but I'm worried someone may get hurt by bumping into the old wardrobe and causing it to fall on top of them. And, since it'd be solely my fault, the consequences aren't hard to predict yet again.

Really? For the sake of westernised humanity, stop the killings, the shootings, and all the mass murders.
Europe must act now.

My new housemate.

Thus far he has/hasn't:

- Left excrement on the toilet seat.
- Urinated all over the floor and on a rug, both of which I have cleaned.
- Poured milk into a black sack, which inevitably leaked through.
- Used approximately 30% of my washing powder on one wash load, and according to the bottle there's enough in there for 42 washes.
- Never washes up.
- Left shreddies, milk and sugar all over floor and surface in our property's kitchen.

I desperately need to find a place of my own.

I cannot afford to live in a Bed & Breakfast and I surmise that living in a homeless shelter would be far worse than my current living situation. I guess I should be grateful for what I have got.

@ means at & means and

Misinterpreted body language. :(

I've interpreted crossed arms as meaning closed off leave me alone, because that's what books on body language say.
To me, crossed legs can also be a closed off, guarded, stop-touching-me message.

Apparently with NTHubby both are wrong.

Crossed arms just means he's cold (he says).

Crossed legs just means his knees/legs/back hurt and he's trying to get comfortable.

:?

I wouldn't be feeling too grateful if a saucepan suddenly came hurtling through the air at me.
Any type of sheltered accommodation might be worth trying. It seems possible that you should be claiming benefits, not living in extended arrears that falls below a certain credit line.
I'm not even sure why you're putting your life on hold .. for any sum of money.

I woke up with a hangover and then I had to walk through the rain for 80 minutes to retrieve my car.
