I return, good a-evening, as it is 5pm which, in winter at least, is the time I define when afternoon changes to evening.

Dear Impish 'D', You are not saying that your neighbors are setting off fireworks in their yard? That is SO illegal! Your roof could catch fire, y'all could be hurt! They cannot DO that! Now I'm worried! Sylkat :(

Well, it is indeed kind of dangerous, but in our place, backyard fireworks is the norm every New Year, though it has been decreasing here in our community. Still, my family has seen to that. Good thing our upper floor is all concrete and metal, so no chance for fires at that point.
