Two once-popular Portland shopping malls are no longer what they used to be even well before the pandemic.

I am hopeful that I will manage to get back into my school for the upcoming term.

Missing half of this school year has not been great at all.

I'm convinced that the Monkey Island games were partly based on the real-life tale of Stede Bonnet, Mighty Pirate. He was a wealthy but depressed man who decided that the only thing that could cheer him up was to become a pirate captain. He was pretty bad at it- had a habit of attacking only larger, more heavily-armed ships.
