My flatmates are back from having those kinds of youthful fun socially isolated weirdos like me don't get to experience even when we're still the right age to do it, which I'm not anymore.

They kept me awake for the better part of last night, waking me up with the racket they were making with some friends and some girlfriend or hook-up or other. I couldn't fall asleep again, not for the rest of the night, not for the whole subsequent day, despite being rather sleepy all the time, and most of it with an annoying headache. It's a pretty sure bet they'll do the same again.

The idea of putting a carton with orange juice laced with urine in the fridge for them is getting more and more tempting, but I'm afraid of their retaliation, especially what they could do when I finally get some sleep, since my room can't be locked from the inside.

By the way, in case you're wondering, our neighbors do complain about our noises; in fact, one has forbidden us to walk barefoot, because, according to him, we need to keep our shoes on to damp the oh so loud noise we make when our heels hit the floor 8O He's threatened to sue us.

That's just plain ridiculous

My canker sore is starting to heal, so I can breathe a sigh of relief now.

I've just heard someone exchanging kisses with one of my flatmates at the door, presumably the same unknown female someone I mentioned in the other thread. Consequently, the mildly good news therein for my sleep has just been negated.

I read that lots of fish are dying this summer because they don't have enough oxygen in their water this year. I guess it won't be long before we run of of oxygen on land, too. Cyanide, anyone?

As oxygen levels deplete you can rest assured that more people will die off as well but, this is dependent upon the rate of oxygen depletion though

Why don't they have any oxygen?
I am unhappy because due to my stupid nightmare problem, I got three hours (bad) sleep.

I'm no scientist but, as the world's oceans become more and more polluted the oxygen content overall decreases.

I am feeling more and more that we are edging into an abyss.

Is not Abyss both the name of a professional wrestler as well as a Marvel Comics villain.

The world is not ending..At least not right at this moment.

the world "as we know it" is inexorably changing into something heretofore unimaginably horrible, but like the frog in the hot oil we are not seeing this happen.

I'll be brutally honest the world is degenerating whether one wishes to acknowledge such yet, it's not permanent, for nothing in life remains the same and things can be changed.
