They are banned in the UK for causing unnecessary animal suffering. It can take an animal several days to die of thirst or starvation, some even gnaw off their own feet or legs to try to get free. Anyone caught using glue pads here to catch animals would face charges of animal cruelty in a court of law. It also says something about the mentality/morality of someone who would use such a thing.

I'm aware of the concerns but what would you catch lizards with? And how far does this go? Next thing you know we won't be allowed to catch flies with sticky tape either.

And between glue and poison I'll definitely go with glue.

Glue pads is what the pest control my workplace has a contract with uses.

My son found a little green snake caught in one where he works. He tried to remove it to save it but it was stuck too bad and he had to put it down.
Years ago my ex put some out in a work shop and caught a wren,I laid the law down and there was no more of those bought ever.
I sign every petition that comes up to ban those evil things.

Why would you even want to catch a lizard?

Informant or an undercover agent? Informants tend to be legitimate participants, not pretenders.

You're an anonymous informant for sure. 8)
