Almost complete nocturnalism. That makes me unhappy.
That and yet more troubles finding any way to retrain and get back into the workforce. Whatever I try, it's always no, no, no.

as a former doc, i can say that masturbation is a healthy part of human sexuality. it's the best way to learn what you do and don't like, for example. it's also a good way for a couple with different sex drives to deal with their difference. it generally gives pleasure. guilt about it is unwarranted. the purpose of guilt is to get us to stop hurting sentient beings and to make amends. masturbation, as dcj point out, hurts no one. when you feel false guilt, distract yourself or rationalize against it. eventually, it will go away.

"False guilt"?

With all due respect, how do you know if my purported feelings of guilt are real or not?

all feelings are real, but the feeling of guilt with no purpose is false guilt.

But I believe it's a depraved act, which tarnishes me.

I went home for the weekend at my parent's house and just got back. I had a lovely swim in their pool and my grandmother and my nephew came over for supper. We had this GIANT roast turkey and vegetables from my dad's garden. I bright home leftovers.

My nephew is 20 years old now. He and I had some rather interesting conversations about things like how insects and animals use camouflage, and how crash test dummies are made, and how scratching an itch just seems to make you feel more itchy. My mom says he's a lot like me, and I think she's right. He had found the back scratcher and was delighted by it. He wanted to scratch everyone's back with it.

After supper we even talked to my uncle and his family using Skype on my parent's computer. It was actually quite nice getting in touch with seldom-seen relatives.

I just realized I my last post is on the *wrong* forum. I thought this was about posting things that made you happy today and it wasn't until I started reading other people's posts I realized I was wrong.

Oh well, we all make miss steaks.

The light bulb in my computer room has just burned out and I can't find any new ones, and it's getting late and it's very wet out so I think I should wait until tomorrow when I go out for groceries to buy more, and I don't have a lot of money anyway because my check has not arrived yet.

Please excuse my tyoingh erros, as it's getting too dark to see the letters on my keyboard.
