I have found myself useing old cliche topics like about the weather and stuff, but for me I am actualy generaly interested in what they have to say about it. Well that is what I do over the phone to my grandmother as I do not want to appear rude, I might talk about health or other things they might find is helpfull. My problem is that I tend to only talk about myself, I am trying to learn to ask others or not only talk about myself. But usualy I am interested in others, some times I fear it is in a kind of experiment sort of interested though.

i mentioned a thunderstorm yesterday and wrote that 17
people got hit...turns out it wasn`t 17...it was 95!! 8O
95 people got struck by lightning at once, 60 of them are
in the hospital, might be a record or something

Wish i was joking, but no. This guy roamed the streets for a long time
scaring people with the head. And then he stabbed the police officer that
tried to cuff him, after stealing a motorbike and crashing that into a cop car,
injuring 2 people.

Sounds hard, the beheading thing, but its just flesh and a little bone, not
very thick either, so its not so hard with sharp tools. To not be bothered
by the mess you make is another thing

Oh, and he beheaded the girls dog first after a lovers fight, and then he turned on her 8O

think this is what they call going on a rampage

When people get emotional and angry enough, anything can happen, to pretty
much anyone - we just loose it completly and for a while we are cavemen again.
Especially with the jeaolusy-thing, how many people get killed every year by a
jealous partner/friend..its a basic instinct and we dont handle it very well i must say

I wonder if I could be pushed into something like that, when I was bullied I might have had thoughts of just totaly ripping them appart. But I am pretty sound and don't let things like that realy take control, but still some of the thoughts are still there. One of my fears used to be that the torture they were putting me through could turn me into some kind of psichopath. One of my goals is to have a clear mind and to do the right thing all the time.

You sound very clear-headed with some good insight,
not a dumbass in other words :) if someone really annoys me
over and over and over...i often get to a point where I`m ready
to just take them down and apart, no matter what i have to do.
And i guess thats the critical point, i dont do it because i know its
just stupid to do so, i dont let myself take big decitions when i`m
really angry, i seldom take good decitions when in that mood, so i
try my best to be level and nice to people, i dont want to hurt anyone
of course, but i can see red if people dont leave me alone after telling
them to several times, had some nasty fights when i was younger, i just
got enough after a while and ripped through whoever was standing in
front of me while screaming "i told you to leave me alone didn`t i? now
see what you get you a*****" dont feel to good about it, but its old history
now and i am much more calm now then i was then, not easy to pick a fight with

I`m off , have to go outside, have a big pile of wood i`m working on and chopping
up, winter is comming this way fast :x again *sigh*

*puts on hockeymask and fires up the old trusty pimped-out juiced-up chainsaw with a grin*
ahh, i do love my chainsaws :) what a tool (both me and the saw), nothing like the smell of hot chainsaw chainoil in the morning - still love the Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre,
running around, waiving his saw :) what a nutjob (sidenote): that movie is loosly based on the life of Ed Gein. Not everybody knows that, now he was a bit "weird" one might say.. :)

Though I have made some rash decisions, I think that I have maybe not treated some people the way I should have, like smacking my brother. I think it has become a habit but I realy do not want to do it, my dad sometimes hurt me a lot and if I have a child I want to have it that I would not smack at all. Also when I see something hapen I just watch and don't help, I think it is wither being lazy or the fact I am scared of geting close to a stranger.

Supposidly most of us are winter people, but I realy enjoy summer, I can just be a bit more energetic in summer and I can spend more time outside.

Heres a story that illustrates the difference in americans and
people from scandinavia :)

Some years ago my car broke down while i was using it, i call
a guy i know to come and help me tow it.

As we are standing there between the two cars trying to figure out
some things, a man in his 40`s suddenly heads in our direction and says "hi guys,
car trouble?" with a real nice thick american accent :) (this was in norway)
he was from dallas i think. So, he start to talk about the rope, checks it out, talks a little
about the break-limit on the rope and assures us (without us asking)
that the rope we use is strong enough, a little more small talk and then
he says "well good luck guys, take care" and walks away.

And then it hit me, he was just a nice guy that didn`t want anything. You see, i`m
not used to people doing that at all out in public in a crowded street, we have more
of a "mind your own buisness" mentality or something here, so both me and the guy i
was with was standing there, a little on the alert thinking "what does this guy want..? scam..? pick pocket..? what is this guy after..." and he was just helpful and very nice it turned out.

That shows the difference nicely :) i got a real good impression of americans from
that guy, real laidback and friendly he was and he talked pretty much non stop to two
complete strangers, impressive

well, i`m off to the wood again (chopping wood is kinda boring, i have to say) so i take
alot! of breaks to make it a little smoother :)

Well it doesn't hurt to see how someone is doing, you should see some of the things my mum has done, she is a nurse and likes to help others and meets some amazing people. Sometimes and talking to people can be good, every so often I work up the courage to ask someone if they need help, but I wonder if I could do it to save someones life.

Your absolutely right, its a little sad that overall people are like
that very often here, me also earlier. But i try to help if i see someone
needing help or somehting now. i`ll bet that american i met walked away
thinking "what the **** is wrong with these skandinavians.." because
we were mostly just standing there, nodding and saying yes and no,
meizuring him up and down :) and he was just friendly and open, poor guy

Latest news in the ligtningstrike yesterday:

a little over 100 people got hit 8O by two different strikes
hitting ground at the same time close to each other, one of them
hit a thick wide long metal fence that runs almost all the way around
the track, the fence people stand up against when watching, thats why
so many got hit, it just ripped through the fence. A guy on crutches had
massive flames and stuff shooting out of them as the lightning went by 8O 8O
The weather has been insane here the last days, alot of big thunderstorms that suddenly
is all over the place, thousands of lighningstrikes, when look out the window now
i see something very black creeping around in the shky in the distance and the wind
is really starting to pick up.. something is comming this way :)

Well it can be tough to go out and just talk to someone. Our news did some experiments to see how the public reacted and if they would help and the results were pretty terrible. Though there have been some things where people have put there lives on the line and even died from doing so, such as being shot by trying to protect a women from her abusive boy freind. There are good people everywhere, I am sure that not all Americans are as helpful as the one you met. From what I have heard some like to treat each other like s**t, well most of my sources are things like the Ghostbusters movies and stuff.

You know i saw a very interesting experiment on discovery, they put people
in a situation where they belived they heard someone calling for help, dying or in
serious trouble. First they did it one and one, and the people reacted individually,
getting help for what they thought was something bad going on/someone in trouble.
Almost every test person reacted right away and said "wait a minute something is wrong here!"

Then, they put a group of 6-7 people togheter and did the same thing. And this is interessting,
no one did anything, people just started to look around at the other people, waiting for
someone to do something. Sometimes one person took charge of the situation and then the
rest immedialtly followed. But most of the times they just got unsure, didnt want to speak up
in front of other people and just looked around waiting for someone else to do something, even though they were listening to something that very well could have been someone
fighting for their lives. In conclusion, we are very sheep-like in some ways :) We shine as
individuals, but put us into a large group and suddenly we share one brain or something, everything goes downhill, everyone relies on everone else doing something :) doomed to fail.
It`s this mass-thing we see at stadium-concerts and fotball arenas, its just riddicolus how everybody gets sucked in and loose the ability to think of their own in a crowd. Could be used to achieve great things, but of course we use it to fight over a ball on a lawn and music instead, we are just way to much fun to observe we humans :) crazy little critters running
around like drunk children
