I've long wondered about Catholics who take advantage of expensive Friday seafood specials at groceries and restaurants during Lent. It's like, "Well, if I have to abstain from *real* meat as penance, I might as well make it up to myself...Waiter, I'll have the Caviar-Lobster Frittata, please. "
