But he hurts....

He's so big I wonder if he isn't something else. He attacks me when I move and makes strange growling noises.

Could he actually be some kind of bobcat? They look like house cats, only bigger.

He doesn't scare at all. But I finally got him off.

He's so big and persistent. Not like any cat I've had he even tries to lay on my shoulders which is practically impossible because of his size.

Also: you have 10,485 posts and you have been a member for 6 months. Good god. (Then again, at the rate I'm going, that will probably be me in a few more months.)

Tis true...I used to post a lot of pics and was in this threadkilling business for a quite a while. Don't post as much and random as I used to but as you can see I still do it.

And most members take pride in their amount of posts.....

Unfortunately, my thread with the forum game for increasing your post count was deleted :(. As for the cat, perhaps it is some sort of hybrid. Where did you get it from?

In this trailer park. It's full of feral cats.

Ah see? It is probably the result of an illicit affair between a common domestic cat and a bobcat. Either that or it is a completely new species, an offshoot of felis domesticus that is larger and stronger and more suited to feral life, and also quite impossible to remove from one's arm :).

One of my interests is how did animals like dogs and cats adjust with humanity and turn into what they are like now. Like didn't dogs start out as wolves, and now they are almost built for being with humans.

He's also not getting along with my other cats...not murderous but I think he assumes what they call the alpha position.

He's also very affectionate as well as militant....strange cat. I'll have to post a pic of him sometime soon.

There are a great many species of animals and of plants that were created by humans through selective breeding to serve our needs. I am kind of wondering how cats were tamed though, as even the current model aren't especially tame, and it must have been considerably more difficult when they were the size of coyotes.

Well they do say pets tend to pick up traits of their owners.
