Feyokien: *cue the collective awwws* haha. BTW, nice collar

Logston: What breed is she? Looks like a Bernese. She's pretty.

Skilpadde: Hamm thanks you for the compliments lol. Viggo looks really serene in that pic.

I wish, nah Dane is fully grown now and about maybe 5 years old now

This is what he looks like as of two weeks ago, still thinks he's a little puppy from time to time

Viggo is a cool name :D

Glad it made him happy lol ;) Viggo was serene there. Relaxing in the grass... a little sleepy lol

Thanks, I can't take credit for that though. Viggo was the name his former owner gave him. We adopted him from a colleague of my mother when he couldn't keep him any longer. Naturally it has become a fave name!

Dane is still lovely! :)
I know all about dogs who think they're puppies at times. I can't even say how surprised I was when I saw Viggo aged 10 at the time chase his own tail like a puppy! Did I mention he was 10? He had been with us for more than 5 years and I had not seen him chase his tail in all those years. But at 10...

They're so adorable when they're asleep! That's the neighborhood cat? I'm surprised you could come close enough to it to get such a good picture. Animals don't tend to be very heavy sleepers when they're outdoors. Too much going on...

Hamm is lovely :D I like that white "Lassie" spot he has too!

I have two dogs, Topaz ( a 15 year old Pit Bull) and Bearbob, a 10 year old Great Dane/ Pit Bull mix. I like cats, but the ones I end up with are ranch bred and always try to get out of the house. They inevitably succeed and then get eaten by the coyotes. I gave up about two years ago. :(

Glebel, I just noticed your post right now. I'm so sorry your cats meet such a dreadful fate! :( I hope you keep in mind that as they age, dogs become more vulnerable to, even larger breeds.

Australian Shepherd. She's only 40lbs so, much too small to be a Bernese and they don't have prick ears. Technically Aussies aren't supposed to either according to the breed standard given that they are a severe fault in the show ring, but they're actually fairly common especially in working lines. Some Aussies do look like little Bernese dogs-- particularly if they have a lot of dark copper point and a showy coat.

Thanks for the clarification. Her colors made me think of Bernese.

Yeah, that's the neighborhood cat. Gato's super affectionate, so it's fairly easy to take pictures when he/she (haven't bothered to check the sex lol) is curled up next to me. You're right though; Gato was alert even though his/her eyes were closed. There's another neighborhood cat that's really pretty, so I'll try to get a pic next time.

Here's another family dog. Her name's Lucy (named after one of my favorite shows): http://1drv.ms/1VKafCu

after nearly two and a half years of living amongst purple bedding and late night running, mochi passed away on halloween. he was the last remaining hamster of the three i've recently had and the only one not to die of an obvious medical issue.

i'm sure there is endless expanses lots more of heavenly pirple bedding where he's going, i won't be able to change it.

goodnight little dude
