Dear Tequila, I had never heard of this person, so I Googled him, and I agree with you that Britain needs to find a way to deport him. The information is pretty tangled for me to understand all of it, but he does SEEM to have clear ties to some very bad people. I think he needs to be back in the Mid East, the risk is too great to the English people.

Dear Tequila, Please forgive American ignorance of your laws, but did he not get into your country ILLEGALLY, using a FORGED passport? Therefore he is deportable as an illegal alien, yes?

Yes, and he is wanted in Jordan on terrorism charges. Yet we can't even deport an illegal alien terrorist preacher because the Jordanians might be beastly to him.

Um, naive question, but if he is WANTED by Jordan, and if he is THEIRS, being their citizen, can your government not simply return THEIR property, so to speak?

No, because blah blah blah, he might be tortured, yooman rights, our collective hearts bleed etc. Even though he is their citizen and we would be doing everyone a big favour.

I can't think of any MP in the House of Commons (except, perhaps, George Galloway) that wants this piece of trash here.
