I confess that felines of all kinds vastly improve my mood, especially my own kitties.

I confess that I think Denis Istomin is quite nice and good-looking.

I confess I also have a liking for a certain Spanish tennis player.

I confess, that no matter how many times I feel disheartened somehow, I feel the internal courage to go onwards.

That's a good trait to have, kazanscube! I think about something one of my favorite tennis players said (the one in my user name): "I don't think about a comeback. I'm here now."

I confess I used to have many toys as a young child teenager, but gave all of that away for, someone made me feel as if keeping such was absolutely redundant.

That is sad. My school was in a forest and we often had a squirrel come in through the window and just sit in the classroom. I would watch it while nobody noticed it. When somebody moved, it would jump for the window. Cute and lovely animals.

That must have been so fun to watch! I wish we had such interesting "classmates" when I went to school. The only animals that entered my classroom were the occasional fly or wasp.

Squirrels are cute :)

I've seen some, but not very often. And they're usually just a small shadow running up a tree or jumping from one tree to another.

There were a lot of squirrels where I used to live in London, on the edge of Epping Forest. Every single one seemed to be a grey squirrel. Don't think I've ever seen a red one.

I have seen more squirrels then you can shake a stick at.

Though I have spent time in New England I have NOT seen the red squirrels they have up north there. But have seen the other two kinds of American squirrels. Gray and black.

Have seen zillions of the gray squirrels we have in the eastern half of the USA.

A buddy and I even watched a wild fox stalking some squirrels just outside of my apartment (just like something out of a nature documentary).

Have also seen the black squirrels that they have in Colorado. Big burly squirrels with tufts of fur sticking up from the ears ( kinda like a lynx). Their big size and fake long ears earns them the nickname "squabbits".

And the grey squirrels we have here in the DC area often come in mutant individuals. One tree by a bus stop I used to use all of the time had resident squirrels that were normal gray, some that were melanistic (black), and some that were albino. In fact at first I mistook one of the white pink eyed rodents for someone's escaped pet lab rat until I noticed that it had a bushy tail.

And have seen squirrels go down the throat of one of our pet tom cats. In fact we even witnessed one come back UP again. The cat puked the squirrel back out and onto the floor in its exact anatomical order: head to tail (all half digested).

I confess that I got into a freak accident last Saturday. Not only did I had to get an IV up my arm, but also stitches on my head. I'm okay now, but on Monday, the stitches will be removed.
