I was carrying a rather heavy laundry basket, and my mom was like "Lillikoi! Hurry and bring your laundry downstairs!"

I said,
"Sorry, it's kind of.. hampering my movements."

Met my new social worker who seemed to be exactly the kind of person I have been looking for. She knows CBT, DBT, and ACT. She is pretty easy to speak to and knows all about Asperger's as well unlike those at the psych hospital. Finally someone I can see on an ongoing basis for an indefinite amount of time for free.

I attended a focus group at my city's mental health hospital and was complimented several times on my ideas and how well I was able to articulate them. After the focus group I went to an appointment that I had with a sleep clinic physician which was a follow up to the sleep study I had done there and I spoke with the doctor for about 20 minutes on all of the issues I found wrong with the sleep clinic, the staff and her own sleep tip sheet and how they could be improved. I think she was very appreciative of my feedback as well and thanked me. It was nice to finally be appreciated and have my analytical aspie brain put to good use for once.
