Owning a pitbull sounds more and more inviting.

My parents friends owns a pitbull and he is one of the nicest dogs I have met. A few hours after I met him he liked to lay near me.

i would hate to be a pelican.
i would live in fear of that flap of stretchy skin that comprises the floor of my mouth being somehow torn or damaged.
i also would hate to see the world as they do. they have no stereoscopic perception because their eyes are on either side of their head facing in completely different directions to each other.
which eye do they pay attention to? do they have dual processors that meld the input from both their eyes into a situational reality? i would feel motion sickness within a few seconds of suddenly becoming a pelican, because my mind would spin out of control due to my immediate disorientation.

i like pelicans because they play the role of pelicans, and that saves me from having to do so.
they fill a potential hole of pelican-ness that saves me from falling into it.

sorry i am not well together tonight.

I'm drinking a Strongbow at the moment. It's the first time I've ever had one.

It kinds smells like beer, tastes like beer but not so bitter.

Getting into this stuff might be a good foray into becoming a beer drinking cretin :P

Well it's a good starter for someone who's never tasted ANY cider before. Now that there's a Dan Murphy's in my town I can taste test all these new fandangled imported drinks. I will look for Aspalls on my next trip there.

I recommend mead too. If you can get it. Drink of the gods.
