For a little while, I was having doubts about whether or not Harry Potter would develop into a new interest. But my mom told me today that sometimes interests take a little while to develop. She says that I don't give things enough of a chance to decide whether or not I like them. So tonight I picked up where I left off and finished the 2nd Harry Potter book. Between the pep talk that my mom gave me and the emotional rush of finishing a book, I'm a lot more confident that Harry Potter could become my next interest.

I had to break my code yesterday in order to stick up for myself, here on WP yesterday. I'm back in a Mick Avory frame of mind and I'm not going to blow up at any more members for a very long time. If I scared or surprised anybody, I apologize. I did what I had to do in General Autism last night. 8)

I can be forgetful too. And that can lead to bad things happening. :(

I don't think I've ever understood what it means to "feel your age".

I love the refreshing feeling of cold water going down my throat on a hot summer's night. :)

I'm not totally sure what my special interests are at the moment.

I agree. I really miss the feeling of being totally obsessed with something - having special interests makes me feel fulfilled and excited about life. But without them, I just feel bored and empty inside.

So I take it you're not obsessed with the Rayman games anymore? How long have you been without a special interest?

Having a good book to read makes me feel less lonely.

I went through that phase when I joined WP in 2004.
