^I don't understand when parents do that. How can they not see that what matters is to show acceptance to your child as they are. Boast there confidence, and accept there shortcomings.

I remember my mother and my father wisited my brother in prison one time (but not together), and I was so horrified when they told me about it, because BOTH commented negatively on the fact that he had put on weight.
