^I don't understand when parents do that. How can they not see that what matters is to show acceptance to your child as they are. Boast there confidence, and accept there shortcomings.

I remember my mother and my father wisited my brother in prison one time (but not together), and I was so horrified when they told me about it, because BOTH commented negatively on the fact that he had put on weight.

That's another 200 quid down the drain today as a result of my compulsive gambling. Not great for an unemployed college student. :|

This emotions hasn't been very strong today, it can be so much much worse.. I just felt the need to be clear about that.
