I have a talent for languages. In day-to-day life this acts more of a curse than a blessing, whenever I hear someone with terrible English it makes me physically cringe.

When my sons mother calls, and tells me how our son when with her begs to want to go back to daddies home, I secretly love it, even though what I tell her is that when he is with me he does the same for her. which is not always true.

And even though i know its bad, she complains about how hard he is to handle when with her, while he is more well behaved with me, and this as well makes me smile, for now she knows I am a better father then she gave me credit for when she tried to take him from me, and who he prefers to be with.

I never put her down to him, she does her own damage.

The difference is, I try to teach my son to have attitude, something one needs in life to make it in this world, and give him the freedom of many choices that helps him grow and discover who he is and wants to be, and he respects this.

while all she does is try and control and dominate. mostly because she feels her own life is out of control.

I treat my son as my best friend, as well as my being his father and parent.
and I live up to what I expect of him.

I have 6 parenting certificate on my wall, but none of them taught me what I know, for it all comes naturally to me. I may not be perfect, but I am a good father and vary nurturing.

why does much of this make me smile? because women reject me as relationship material, when I am and can be a better father and parent and better with kids then most men or women. I am a good one to have children with. I do not have to say a word, our child's attitude and actions and words does this for me, and everyone can see this. even her.

Just because a woman gives birth, does not make her a good parent or mother.

My struggle with my special interests is over. I realized that nothing can compare to my love for Tim Burton and Johnny Depp's movies, in addition to my love for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It took me a long time to figure it out - I wasted a lot of time trying to find new obsessions when deep down I never stopped loving my old ones.

I also figured out that my struggle with my special interests wasn't an isolated problem; that it was probably caused by a bigger emotional/psychological problem, since I am still miserable even though I've resolved it and I've been developing other psychiatric symptoms, symptoms that I have also experienced earlier in the year. Despite knowing lots about mental illnesses, I can't pinpoint what could be wrong with me since my symptoms don't fit neatly into any diagnoses that I know of, so I'm going to discuss it with my psychiatrist when I visit him next month.

Being that I am a sports fan, I tend to wear a lot of sports-related gear, like jerseys, caps, the like. My parents say I have too much, being the typical prissy Asian parents; that song "Parents Just Don't Understand" fits well in that thought. I may post a pic of myself wearing such gear in the near future.

I, uh..... this started in high school, and it continues to an extent today. Given how my mind works (my love for sports, uniforms, and all fine details of them), I came up with this thing called the "Simulator". It was this little thing I had in my mind where I recreated sporting events, game show episodes, stuff like that, and then put my friends in it! I even had every little detail down, like with the sporting games, the uniforms, stadium, score and whatnot, and for the game shows, the set design, theme song, and all those things. I have such an OBSESSIVE attention to detail.

I'm looking forward to the day after Labour Day. The little rascals and punks in my area will be back in school. They won't be sullying the streets with their nastiness anymore. :)
