Too many people around today.

Feeling ill earlier this evening.

I had to get up early today to go to the Christmas celebration thing with my girlfriend's family. I only got a couple hours of sleep last night.

i feel like i'm right back where i started.

further back than where i started.

I really hate how dark it is at this time of year. I honestly don't want to get out of bed.

Just been reading about the winter solstice and apparently the ancients though that the sun died for 3 days and that's why the 25th is special. I never understood why the 21st wasn't the big day because that's the actually solstice, but the 25th is when the sun starts getting brighter, well if you can see it through all the cloud.

I would still rather party in summer. Winter is for hibernating. lol. I just want the dark days to be over.

I read your story, and those people you describe are plain mean! Terrorists wouldn't be too strong a word to describe their activities. Christmas hugs for your entire family!

I single-handedly and unintentionally brought the house back into the Dark Ages by destroying the delicate truce between a house with working mains electricity, and a shoddy system of faulty, poorly insulated circuitry that should have been laid to rest many decades ago. I'm not in anyone's good graces this eve. Seriously, why do these things revolve around me? I pull a light and the apocalypse descends.

Loneliness and isolation compounded by Christmas Eve and the upcoming Christmas Day alone.

I told a family member far away that my sister makes me sad cause I don't know how to communicate w her, and she is mean when I do or makes rules for me that make me angry like I need to say hi first like I'm not smart. She told me to try to see thru my sister's eyes. And I felt no closure from the conversation.

It's Christmas Eve, nuff said.

I stumped my toe. Really hard.

My mom was being angry this morning.

I've been down in the dumps for the last several months. About the last thing I want to do is go out and see anyone. I've lost count of all the holidays, birthdays (including my own), and other special occasions I've pissed away because I've been so depressed. Christmas is just another one for me. I haven't been prepared. Every time another f*****g holiday passes me by it just makes me feel worse.

I've spent the last day basically pretending it's not the holidays but I can only keep that lie up for so long. It doesn't help that I've always had a complicated relationship with this particular holiday.

I can't wait for things to just go back to normal.
