the water heater is in shambles.

i was getting cold water in the shower, having turned the hot faucet all the way up, AND shutting off the cold faucet entirely.

argh.

I slept @ 5AM, and woke up at 3PM. Man, that's a lot of sleep.

My grandpa died today. He had Alzheimer's & was recently put in a nursing home. He wasn't eating cuz they were putting meds in the food cuz he refuses to take any. He got pushed a week after he was put in there trying to help someone carry a laundry basket who didn't want to be helped(I'm guessing that's what happened; I don't really know the details sense I live across the country). He broke his hip & had a partial hip replacement. He let himself go after that. He was in his 90s & probably hated the idea of not being independent sense he worked hard all his life.

I feel sorry for you, man. My grandfather is going through a similar situation and it depresses me whenever I think about it. He's still alive, but we don't know how much time he has left.
