I saw an e-mail about a job opportunity, and was excited, only to be crushed when I found out I didn't have the specific qualifications for it. It requires a Master's in Library Science. Unfortunately, mine is in English. I also lack the experience with the public which is needed for that job. I may have to face the facts that, at my age, I may never advance much past where I am now, even though that place is far ahead of where I was even two years ago.

Jokes aside, I haven't had much success in that department either and I don't even want it now. I wouldn't worry with it, I think for me anyway and maybe you can't relate, that I would rather be happy alone before being happy with someone else. Perhaps you should find happiness in yourself before trying to have a relationship. Also, it is a road less taken, just because everyone else is in a relationship doesn't mean its for me. I also don't want a woman (Or a man!) telling me I drink too much or I shouldn't get high or that I play too many games, I am my own person, I don't need that crap.

Dear IstominFan, I'd not give up nor am I being sarcastic, cause though it seems impossible it's not.
I'd say my occupational outlook is very minute since, I fell through the cracks and was diagnosed late in life whereby, all the resources that could have helped me educational& occupational were simply not there at the time and I'm having to make up for that..

No one signed a petition I created.

Texas is still a theocracy for the foreseeable future.

All options to find others with the same interests have been exhausted.

I have been priced out of the more progressive neighborhoods in Houston.

I predicted last year on this weekend that my mum would end up in an episode of karma for trying to take Hogan's Heroes and the German helmet from me, last year on this very weekend. The karma would come in the form of a car accident. My mum and I were in my dad's Escape and we were heading to Walmart on an overpass this morning. My mum drove over some black ice, the car pun out of control. We slid down the rest of the overpass, bumped into a lamppost and than we crashed though the wire fence of a trailer dealership yard and hit two trailers. It was scary. The car was totaled in the front.

Mr. Tim_Tex your not the only person whom has to deal with Neanderthals from the dark ages running local government, for where I live there are some things that indicate a theocracy.

Moving out of my parents, permanently. I think it's time, but I want to say goodbye to them for good.
