my sister is getting awfully close with that loser from high school i used to know.

hate him. he works at office max, and can't grow facial hair to save his damn life.

i never imagined i'd see him on the lawn with her, when i graduated from that horrid place. most certainly not over a year later.

I'm unhappy right now because I hurt a friend's feelings while PMing on this site last night.

Some friends of mine are fighting.

Some creepy girl is constantly flirting with my friends boyfriend at work and she's super sad about it and I'm like super angry about it and want to smack him in the face for not dealing with it but that's normal cause I'm angry about literally everything so I'm gonna go get dinner with her tomorrow and we'll probs watch a chick flick and eat ice cream.

Bad memory, big meltdown.

You (me) can't really trust anyone. I thought I was a good reader of someone's character, and I was proven wrong again. I shouldn't have gotten back onto the HOA Board. It's going to be a constant fight (with the Board members themselves) just to get anything done. I'm tired of people getting on the Board to only benefit themselves and not for the reason of making the community a better place. Some people really piss me off.

It was pouring rain, which made for really scary driving.

^^ same here! wow, it's almost like we live in the same county or something.

but on top of that...lately the lights at home have been flickering, dimming repeatedly and then restoring themselves to full brightness, only to resume flickering later, which makes me all the more worried for another power outage.

there was one that stuck our block early this month after a downed tree took out a pole and some lines with it, left us without watts for the better part of 9 hours. that was something i'd prefer to not reexperience, not least because somebody thought it was a fantastic idea to illuminate the home by means of a gas lamp...indoors.

but more trees fell today, they were these old, majestic italian stone pines, those guys have shallow root systems and so when their substrate is sufficiently moist and loosened, and there's strong winds to boot...they don't stand much of a chance. they fell on parked cars, an apartment complex was evacuated. the death of the trees made me unhappy.

heh, a few years ago when the drought was really bad, the city actually went to the effort of installing these giant green water bottles for the trees to sip on, so they didn't dry out...very few of them did, back then...but come the storms, they're being drenched with water and that's starting to kill them off, too.

I had a bad night last night, my nose were stuffy, I kept tossing & turning, I woke up this morning, I sneezed & I fell down.
