Funny, I pictured you without glasses :D

I would not recognise my own father across the room without glasses / contact lenses.
After many years of wearing and being traumatized by NHS glasses (free health service, designed to make you look like an idiot) I finally found a pair I actually like. Now I like to think ai have the whole 'Miss Moneypenny secretary' thing going on :lol:

I have face blindness as well. It tends to wear off once I am familiar with someone, though,

I'm afraid to talk on the phone. I've been wanting to call this fitness center to see if I have to set up a tour to become a member but I won't, because I don't want to use the phone. It's stupid...

Why don't you have a friend call for you? Or maybe they have an e-mail and you can contact them that way.

Just sent an email. Yeah I normally make my mom call. Hopefully they'll answer back soon. The old gym I went to changed management and I do not like the way they are running things, so I've decided to switch. I want to join a new one ASAP. I've lost 40 lbs, and I want to stay on track!

The reason I chose CockneyRebel as a username is because I can be a bit of a rebel when people try to push me into a little box and I have the accent to match the attitude I have towards little boxes like that.

I'm usually a very sweet person.

That little box that I speak of is the box called Weak little handicapped Canadian female. If I want to live the life of a male Londoner, I can.

Kids at school see me as a character, a role played, enacted in public. I am labeled as odd, sometimes funny and sometimes rude. I am always spotted reading something or sitting in weird places, alone, just thinking. Virtually no one knows me because I have yet to let myself be known.
