I had a super strange dream last night of Cure Macaron singing Hannah Montana songs.

For those of you who don't know, this is Cure Macaron:

And this is a Hannah Montana song she was singing.

Yeah, that seems likely.

So far I've had three video game related dreams in succession: Metroid [probably from my frustration and contempt over Metroid Other M and what it did to Samus as a character], choosing a partner in Fire Emblem Fates [my relationship wavering], and playing as Alucard fighting Death in Castlevania Symphony of the Night [I have no idea].

^^ I've had my share of lost dreams, both while I was in them as well as when I awoke and promptly they evaporated before I could document them, such as today. :|

Typically we only remember bits and pieces of dreams, the vast bulk of a dream is forgotten within minutes of waking.

in my case it was/is a matter of having too many dreams for me to establish a coherent narrative with any of them.

I wish I could forget my bad dreams or start having some good ones again.

^If, before settling down to sleep, you chant 'tonight I will have good dreams', you can condition your subconscious into accepting and creating good dreams.

That's how I usually am too, I usually get cascaded into another dream before my previous one is finished, resulting in a choppy at best dream sequence.

when that happens, I somehow can stitch them together into a sorta story.

There you go! You can create a sort of "salad" out of the bits and pieces of your dreams. Or use them as seeds to grow all sorts of short stories.

Mebbe... :)

I had a dream a while back where a giant version of my sister destroyed the town. Another dream involved exploding pies, but I don't recall much beyond that.

I may have said this one before, but I had this one dream a few years ago where cows were being thrown into a giant meat grinder and their ghosts were flying off to cow heaven while singing "when I get where I'm going". It was a very weird dream, and even to this day I have no idea why I had that dream. :|

^^^
Pie
To see a pie in your dream symbolizes the rewards of your hard work. Perhaps you are reaching beyond your abilities. Alternatively, the pie may also have the same meaning as a circle. Or the pie indicates sharing and getting your fair share, as in your "piece of the pie".
Cow
To see a cow in your dream symbolizes your passive and docile nature. You obey others without question. Alternatively, a cow represents maternal instincts or the desire to be cared for. For some cultures, the cow represents divine qualities of fertility, nourishment and motherhood.
To see the skeleton of a cow suggests that your mother or motherly figure in your waking life is displaying a lack of emotions. She is being unresponsive to your needs.
To see a herd of cows indicates your need to belong.
Grinder
To dream that you are grinding something represents repetition. Your life is too much of a routine. The dream may thus be a metaphor for the "daily grind". Alternatively, the dream indicates that you have "an axe to grind" with someone. Are you harboring any feelings of resentment?

i dreamt i was President Obama, and i was out in the hilly neighborhood surrounding where i actually live in real waking life. i was carrying a [estimate] 1/4 mile long flagpole inside a looooooonnngg rectangular cardboard box, and i got tired of carrying it along as i was walking up a long hill, and as soon as the downhill part came i threw the box down and it slid down the hill and caused an oncoming car [a caddilac DHS sedan] to swerve. inside that car was Michelle Obama and her entourage. she drove up to me [as Obama] and picked me up and drove to a local mansion whose owner invited us for dinner. amidst the small talk, i awoke.
