My love for 1980s game shows came about by watching the repeats of them on the USA cable network.

I love tomato soup, tomato sauce, diced tomato but I hate normal tomatoes.

I've been fascinated with older music since I was 13 years old.

I don't like soy milk, unless it is in a fruit smoothie.

I love dark chocolate almond milk; I can drink a half gallon of it in less than a day if I'm craving it badly enough.

At work they are amazed that I can get so much done and still be so accurate in calculations and reports. They think I am doing a lot of the work from home. The truth is that I only spend (on average) around 3-4 hours out 8 doing any actual work; there is just not any more work than that for me to do.

I've got gripes about a lot of things, but movies like Juno aren't one of them.

Lately whenever I've been having meltdowns, I like to think of a couple of specific fictional characters and they always make me feel better. Sometimes if I'm having anxiety I imagine them talking me through it. These characters are Franziska Von Karma from the Ace Attorney series, Ukraine from Hetalia and Willow from Don't Starve. They're a rather odd mixture of characters. that's for sure, especially when you take into account how quirky they are - Franziska's a tsundere who cracks people with her trademark whip, Willow's a pyromaniac and Ukraine is a large-busted crybaby. And yet, they continue to be a major source of comfort for me for some reason., even though at times I like to think about other characters. Now, I know I said I was obsessed with other things when I first came back here a few days ago, but I'm starting to think that maybe Willow, Franziska and Ukraine are my obsessions now... ^_^"

I'm into sewing right now, specifically plushies. Not only do I make my own, but I can spend hours at a time looking at other people's work when I lurk on Deviantart (I don't have an account there yet). My current project is Willow from Don't Starve. I started on her last night. Here is the beginnings of her head (the iPod Nano is for size comparison):

I have two fave NHL teams. The Vancouver Canucks (default home team) and the Los Angeles Kings (fave US-based team).
