What are you trying to accomplish by fasting for seven days?

What kind of job do you do?

When you get hungry, how do you resist eating?

How do you prevent binging?

What kind of food do you like?

Weight loss is a side benefit. But you do a process called autophagy when you fast, which is breaking down and eliminating damaged cells, recycling their components, and building new cells. During a fast you produce extra growth hormone, which spares muscle, so you burn a ton of fat and hardly any muscle. And, it seems, that three-ish days (I've heard five, but recent studies say three) is enough to essentially reset your immune system. These benefits are googlable. Definitely don't do this without a doctor knowing what you're doing. Do as I say, not as I do!

But mostly it's an exercise in self control. There's more to it than that, but that's what I'm willing to say.

I don't have one.

During fasting? The first day is the hardest, the second day is pretty tough, but from there it's easy. You don't really get hungry after that.

By not buying snacks. And self discipline.

My diet has been so bad for so long that I have forgotten what I used to even cook, but my favorite meals to cook at home, when I'm doing such things, are pizza and chili. I also like waffles with maple syrup and vanilla ice cream.

pepperoni
avocado cup
plain nonfat greek yogurt
almond butter, from the jar

Just trying things. Keto today, so far, planning on just eggs for dinner, should keep it to 12g net carbs.

ETA and an apple. I guess keto will wait until the apples are gone.

Tomorrow I'll try making the eggs with the pepperoni and avocado. Not sure why I didn't think of that today.

Pizza Hut Spicy Lovers' Pizza. Two slices and that was it for me. My younger brother ordered it. He has better tolerance for spicy than I do.
