I did NOT have any meltdowns today!

I got my eyes checked yesterday and will be getting new progressive lenses, which I very much need. I will be able to read and use the computer much more comfortably and I won't be getting headaches anymore.

Being in business! I think I'm on top of things, and I love the feeling of control

A breakthrough with a student. He is lower functioning on the spectrum, but I was able to use some of my own experiences frim my autism to calm him down and get him ready for lunch.

Finally found these at a decent sale price. Where have you been all my life?

Friend and I tested the sounding box for the guitar I'm building. It's a very unusual shape, and he had me stretch a string over it while he plucked and listened. He said "man! This thing screams!! !" He credits the unusual shape of the sounding box. I credit that, plus the type of wood I selected for it.

This evening I'll start shaping the neck and fret board.

My new Nag Champa oil. Smells like my old incense but there's no smoke and no itchy runny noses here anymore!

Everything that happened today has helped me so much. Can't explain how grateful I am.

My grandad's been on a major Irish folk kick recently and he's been learning the language to help him understand the songs. He gave me one of his teach yourself Irish books when I enquired about them At last, I can make progress!

I went to the dentist and everything is fine, no cavities.
I even got to pick a toy from the treasure chest after asking the hygienist.
