Did you have a person you could get along, but were not friends?

Saturday and it would be Wrllday.

What's a "Wrll"?

A web search says it could refer little-league baseball teams from cities starting with WR (such as White Rock or Weston Ranch); an oldies music radio station out of Chicago; the code for an airport in Balikpapan, Indonesia; or something created in the mind of thewrll.

I think it's most likely the last one. :P

I also dislike that most people don't pronounce Wed-nes-day properly.

I have noticed since I was a young child that most of the days of the week are very similar to numbers:

Mon-day = One-day
Tues-day = Twos-day
Thurs-day = Thirds-day
Fri-day = Four-day

I always thought it would make more sense to use those names in that order, as it would be easier for kids to learn the days of the week.

Because the last poster didn't ask a new question, I will continue on. How about this question:

What days of the weak are your most-to-least favourite, and why do you like or dislike the days?

Example for me:

Friday: the starting of the weekend, escape from school or normal work.
Saturday: relaxing sleep in day when on normal schedules.
Wednesday: I have always loved Wednesdays, the symmetrical midpoint of in the work week, and found it curious how people pronounce it "whens-day".
Tuesday: even though it is near the beginning of the week, I have always thought the word "Tuesday" was beautiful.
Sunday: a reminder of going back to school/work the next day.
Thursday: I have never really liked Thursdays, as I am usually tired by that point in the week if going to school.
Monday: the start of the normal work week, boring.

Edit: oops, it seems like there were other postings that I did not see.

I could swim all day.

Do you prefer to swim indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors, nothing like crisp cold water and the hot sun for contrasting feelings.

Do you know popular culture? n

For the most part, yes.

Nope, I don't drink soda. But when I used to drink soda, I liked it.

Do you have any weird eating quirks?

I cover most things I eat in crazy spices and hot sauce. I've also had to start taking enzyme supplements and consuming large amounts of digestive herbs (ginger, cardamom, etc.) because my gut doesn't work so well these days. Not sure what's up. Perhaps it's related to the crazy spices and hot sauce... But I do seem to be mildly lactose intolerant, if there is such a thing. Gluten seems to cause me problems as well. I'm slowly but surely modifying my diet until it works the way it is supposed to. :eew:

That I was just like Ray Davies when I was 23.

When was the last time that you felt any emotion?

It's been a while since I've felt really strong emotion (Not really willing to put a time frame on it, I honestly can't remember.)

What type of music (if any) produces an emotional response in you?

The Kinks make me feel very happy. Bagpipe music chokes me up.

Do you own a Kindle?

What's a Kindle? Joking, but I may as well ask that since I don't!

Are you a grumpy old cone?
