a few weeks ago, while out exploring for what was in the walkable vicinity, noticed that a grocery store that was generically named to look like a small family owned market from the street was in a corner surrounded by chinese and korean shops and restaurants. went in today, and found out that it is a rather nice, clean, comprehensive, affordable and relatively large(for grocery stores around here) asian market.

ended up buying some hondashi, white miso paste, japanese wasabi, green thai curry paste, and some radish kimchi. definitely will be going back in the near future for other ingredients, there was just so much to look at and want to try cooking with that it was quite excitingly overwhelming.

Gained NO weight over Christmas, which I'm utterly shocked by considering the amount of chocolate I've been consuming :)

Have many things to do tomorrow, some of which takes me way outside my comfort zones, including making a phone call which always causes a massive surge of anxiety, then physically attending an appointment. At the end of it however I will be a step closer to gaining something of great personal significance, so I am nervously glad.

Had a tennis lesson yesterday and really enjoyed it. I am so happy to be on court again!
