Well it's really Potato but some people dispute whether Potato is actually a vegetable so I thought I'd go for something that doesn't have classification confusion.

A: I am not a fan of cars, so I'll go with the first electric car, which incidentally was also the first car/vehicle/thing/horseless carriage.

Q: If you were going to spend the rest of your life on a deserted island, and were allowed to pick only three musicians/bands/groups discographies to bring with you and listen for the rest of your life, which three would you pick?

A: I don't really think that it would be practical to strand a bunch of musicians out on a deserted island and they'd probably become homicidal if they ever found out that they were intentionally selected to be stranded so as to entertain a person who wanted to be stranded. That being said, I'd rather bring the records for music such as the Brandenburg concertos by Bach, Pachebel's Canon in D min, and Superpower by Ferrell & Ferrell.

Q: Do you seriously mean to suggest that the Galactic Empire will fall in less than 300 years and there is nothing that can be done to prevent its demise? I question your loyalty Raven Sheldon. (Can you determine what book this is a reference to?)

Jim Bush, Johnny Cash, and Townes Van Zandt.

I was meaning discographies, as in, their complete collection of recorded music, not the actual band members. So, which three artists would you never get sick of listening to, if you have their complete collection of music?

For me, it would be:

Nine Inch Nails / Trent Reznor
Neil Young
VNV Nation

I might go for classical, but I'm not sure how I could pick only one composer.

Same question.

Barenaked ladies
Bishop Allen
Coldplay

Without a doubt

Now take that question, and lets put a twist on it, 3 books?

Some intensive book on either science, math, or medicine that would challenge my thinking
A book on surviving my situation
A collection of the texts of the major religions, since it is a subject I would like to learn more about but haven't done so yet.

Sorry if you were looking for more specific examples as recommendations. :)

If you were going to write a book about something, what subject or genre would it most likely be about?

A: I am in the process of writing a book about my life as someone far distant from the rest of humanity, studying humanity. Also, I would like to write a book about my theory of the universe, which I call Complexity Theory.

Q: What is a movie have you watched numerous times and don't get bored of it?

It's usually quite hard for me to re-watch movies, but I can almost always watch The Shawshank Redemption or The Matrix.

If you could go back in time and claim credit for an invention, which would you "invent".

Cool question. Seems like cheating though to me. Maybe something like beer brewing or the fermentation process since lots of people would be enjoying a sluice about right now and maybe thinking, 'Wow, what a great guy.'

Same question with a twist
What would you rename your invention if you were the creator/discover?

ok. I like twists. Here's one for you....
I'd claim credit for the improved seed drill, invented in 1701 by the English agriculturalist Jethro Tull.
That way, 266 years later, the progressive/folk/rock band formerly known as Jethro Tull would be renamed "Acacia", and all would be right with the world :)

Let's say that you have a sledgehammer in your hands right now. What is the best possible use for it?
