Was browsing through Uncut at Sainsburys and saw that Zinc Alloy and the Hidden Riders of Tomorrow by T. Rex was number 45 on their 100 Weirdest Albums of All Time list. It also had a picture of Marc in his Zinc persona with tanned skin and shorter hair. By time it got its due- it's highly underrated.

I received an unexpected phone call from someone in the USA. I had thought they'd contact me by email so I was very surprised to hear from them like that. They were very clear on the phone so I had no problem understanding what they said and I don't think I made too much of a fool of myself despite my heavy accent. I am still very happy that it went well.

I was formally voted in as a new member of a Toastmasters club that meets near my workplace and gave a speech. It was well received, although I think it could have used more rehearsal.
