Sometimes I like the company of others, sometimes I feel very reluctant to spend time with others, and isolate myself. I guess I really need to know someone well, like my family, before I feel comfortable around them. It's like a Catch 22.

I don't think I ever feel lonely at all. I've not spent too much time thinking about this, but it could be I just don't care anymore.

It's okay for me to have some nice people around sometimes, but I really NEED my solitude!

Solitude, hands down. Being around people can be work -even in a fun, welcomed social setting. Besides when I am alone I get to focus on things that I can't do when people around... enjoy things that I normally can't enjoy when people are around.

There are a lot of things in life more enjoyable than human interaction.

it all depends on how much interaction i've had that day and also the people. i would definitely say that i need less social interaction than most people. my father is fascinated by this as he loves talking to people.
