Do you drink coffee almost solely for the caffeine-buzz?

I drink it mostly for the caffeine buzz, plus the added bonus of antioxidants. I actually don't really like the taste of coffee (when it comes to taste, I prefer hot tea), but drink it anyway, 'cause I can't fully wake up otherwise.

what about those of us who live in a country with no fast coffee alternative??


i love coffee, but dont drink it if i will be socializing. it makes me feel jittery, panicky and gives me minor panic attacks if i'm in a social situation.

I love the taste of coffee, but it inevitably makes me drowsy.

I have this big blend of herbal tea that I brew in my coffee pot that keeps me about as focused as a low dose of Adderall..It contains ephedra and a bunch of other herbs.
I make a big jug in the morning, stick it in my freezer for a while, and drink it throughout the day to help kinda sorta stay a little bit focused.

Coffee drinking for me is something of a ritual,come to think of it. I drink it at certain times of the day and,especially when I'm at work,those times give me a minute or two to switch off from the chaos going on around me. I don't really get a buzz from the coffee itself but I like the taste and find it reassuring.
