Yup, been there, done that. Usually some image or smart@$$ comment that is/was too funny to NOT laugh at.

Alone, in public, with friends....it's a constant thing for me. xD Once I was walking with my dog and crying because I'd had a bad day, and then a song came on my iPod that made me think of something that a friend said and I busted out laughing.

My mom is pretty used to this, apparently. She explained it to my stepdad. xD But I mean, how can I spend so much time lost in my thoughts and not come across something hilarious every now and then?

Sure, I do that. And then my husband wants to know what was funny. If I say that it's just my own private thing that he wouldn't find funny, or that it's too silly to share, he's seems hurt. Like I'm hiding something from him. So I have to explain it all, and when I finally get to the "punch line" and he doesn't think it was funny, I have to say, "I told you you wouldn't."

i do this pretty much on a daily basis......and loudly, at that. when i am surprised into laughter i tend to bray, a bit donkey-esque, not so lady-like. i live in an apartment building and i'm sure my neighbours must think i'm a raving lunatic--which makes me laugh
