Anyway, about the clothes: Aren't you always supposed to wash them anyway, to get the chemicals out? I wore new pants without washing them once and they kinda burned my leg skin..

Walking down the street you are probably inhaling:
peoples gastric emissions
bit's of skin
bacteria/viruses from other people
their saliva (in their breath etc.)
and tiny spores from the ground released when it rains!
