i love the ultra-smooth texture but otherwise it is much too bland. it is useful as a pure condiment or easy-to-mix addition to recipes. unfortunately it is usually expensive per unit of food, relative to other types of prepackaged foodstuffs.

This thread reminds me of the baby food samples I ordered myself 5 years ago, I mean, I ordered a free guide-book to feeding a baby because in that time I was a freebie freak and there were those two samples of it added to the book. I tasted them and well... they didn't seem to have any taste at all. They were so insipid and so disgusting to me due to it. :eew:

Yep I love "pap" and smooth textured stews. Chick peas are a good combination of BF textures and taste.

I don't like baby food when it's been regurgitated on my shoulder and down my back.

I don't understand why my NT partner has to eat a varied diet. I would prefer to eat the same meal
loads of times until I decide to try something else. They are weird about food. But I guess you can't have everything the way you always want it.

I went to the store the other day and got baby food. I spent neary 30 bucks. But I also got popsicles and two drinks and Twizzlers.

Yes! Vanilla Custard and Hawaiian Delight by Gerbers. When my son was a baby, we'd eat the food together. Otherwise, he'd NEVER eat...it was as if he didn't trust me...I was sort of like the "wine-taster" for a king from the middle ages.
