Well, in that case I don't know what my accent is. My voice is pretty monotonous. You'd have to listen to my voice to determine what kind of accent I have because I don't know. :?

People often ask where my accent is from and say it is nice...

I almost feel bad about telling them Im classic autism and my language development shut down when I was 1. Still love that blank look on their face afterwards. Guess I am lucky in a way to have my on special unique accent.

I guess I have a California accent, but you see those everywhere. But people not from California think that everyone here talks like surfers and they laugh when you say "hella." It's cool that we have our own word in NorCal.

I didn't realize that i had an accent until a few years back, when i was a couple hundred miles south of where i live, around some other people. They brought it to my attention immediately, and i was shocked. I mean, we lived less than 3 hours away. :o From what I've been told, I have a bit of a soutern drawl, which is strange because I've lived here in PA my whole life. Must be the 'middle of nowhere-ness' of my area?LOL

Mine is a mess of elements from Berkshire, Manchester and Durham, with vocabulary mostly from the latter (which is where I live and where, if anywhere, I'm from).

Everyone does until they learn they sound different to the rest of the world.

When I was a kid I thought the same, but by the time I was about 10 I realised that everyone thinks that, and everyone has one.

Craig's lost some of his accent though. Which is a shame, I love the Scottish accent.

My accent is pretty much the "standard" American accent, with a tiny Southern touch in there (born and raised around Seattle, descended from Okies).
