I think someone just poured the last dry drop of supremacy down all our throats once before, and it left the rest of us encumbered wide awake sad n sobre. That said, we need a drop in wine prices and a return in cheaper tariffs.

Nothings better than a house wine to flood the senses.

I do admit that it could also be fun to remember where my mind was at, 6 years ago as well.

I though the title was odd because without seeing idiosynchratic movements, hearing you speak or seeing your social interaction... how would I, your fellow passenger on the internet wave, presume you to be any ethnic, regional or similar affiliation ^+^

The Queen is a "Londoner", and so are all of those working class East Enders who talk out of the side of their mouths (Micheal Cain, and Amy Winehouse, are two famous examples). And so are all of those Pakis, and other ethnic immigrants.

^^ Well, if you can live and breathe one language you can live and breathe another.

My grandad is a Londoner from the East end and I've probably picked up some phrases from him. Of course I'm a Southerner but I don't think I sound Southern or boss. You pick up a language like an old five pound note.
Come September, the last circulation of fivers will be plastic and can be rotated around in the washing machine.
I'm slightly temperamental about letting go of anything though.

I'm quite excited about the new fivers. Can't tell you how many deep sea divers I've lost to the washing machine :(

It didn't take me long to figure out what you meant by that joke. I think the real concern at the moment though, is how many more black boxes we're going to lose in the Pacific or North Sea or Argan, etc before marine intelligence can keep up.

Well, its not in my slang archive. In fact, I think its more associated with British seamarine Intelligence.

It's cockney slang :) it does mean actual divers aswell. I just meant it as the cockney slang term for fivers :) :')
