Centralia, Pennsylvania (click)

Very sad indeed.

I became semi-obsessed with it about ten years ago.

I love old buildings, mostly because I love the way that nature is reclaiming them, to me they feel like sanctuaries where human time stopped long ago......they all seem to smell the same, that weird dust, plaster, wood and mold smell, they are places of peace...

Here's some cool links to abandoned places:

visit www.uer.ca

I'm a member there. For some reason, abandoned mental hospitals are really cool. Sometimes it's like they just up and left.

I found this website many years ago. It caught my interest quite a lot. It also educated me on radiation and things because I was convinced that you would die instantly from going there (hence my fear!) yeah, it's hard to shake that feeling even when you see that this woman has been going there for years! It's been updated since I last saw it with videos. They are also interesting.

A nearby town called Kapunda is said to be quite haunted, but I don't know why, and nothing horrible happens there, it's quite a nice place actually.

It certainly was, I couldn't stop reading. Quite a sad thing, that because of one error, so much life had to die.

Hmm I can recall some of the activity and such but 8/10 the pictures are probably gonna look like a store that the products jumped off the shelves.

The activity ranges all the way from footsteps to full body visions and toys flying off the shelves and I don't mean being sold.

Researching most of the legends that are around here we have quite a few headless apparitions including a horseman.

I'd love to hear more about some supposed haunted locations I love to be scared. So far the the creepiest to me is the Island of Dolls.
